Standard and Premier Service

A regular lawn fertilization program is necessary to maintain a good quality lawn. Dollar for dollar, proper fertilization will do more to improve poor quality lawns or maintain good quality lawns than any other single management practice.

Standard Program (Five Applications)

This program sets the standard that the other lawn care services follow. A five application program that includes complete weed control, surface insect control and a fertilizer schedule that keeps your lawn looking good from April to October.

Maintaining a regular application program is the first step to creating a healthy, more beautiful lawn. When your applicator arrives at your home, they will be able to advise you on proper watering and mowing practices that are so critical to having a green, weed free lawn. After checking the yard to remove toys and pet dishes, the application will be made in a professional manner.

Value and results is what you will receive with this program. Your lawn will be a source of great pride all season long and you’ll be glad you chose Atwood to care for your lawn.

Application Schedule:

  • Late Spring (April-May)
  • Early Summer (June-July)
  • Late Summer (July-August)
  • Early Fall (September-October)
  • Late Fall (October-November)

Premier Program (Six Applications)

This is the program that will make your lawn the envy of all your neighbors. A carefully designed six application program gives your lawn the care and feeding it needs, when it needs it and in the right amount it needs. And, of course, complete weed and surface insect control when it is needed too.

Adding a final sixth application to a standard program is what makes all the difference in having the best lawn on the block. The additional Late Fall application encourages stronger root growth and will actually help your lawn green up earlier and darker in the spring. The best lawns on the street in March are the lawns that received a Late Fall fertilizer application as a part of their lawn fertilization program.

Your neighbors will be knocking on your door asking how you keep your lawn looking so good! You’ll just smile.

  • Early Spring (March-April)
  • Late Spring (April-May)
  • Early Summer (June-July)
  • Late Summer (July-August)
