Atwood LawnCare

Atwood LawnCare was started in 1970 as Atwood Lawn Spray Service by a creative fellow named Tom. (Sorry, there is no "Mr. Atwood.") Tom built the company to around 2,000 customers in 1982 by insisting on state of the art vehicles and equipment and by giving superior customer service. Tim Doppel began working for Atwood in 1980 while attending Michigan State University earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Turfgrass Management. Upon graduation, Doppel decided to stay with Atwood and became Manager the next year. In 1984, Tom moved out of state and sold the business to Tim.
